Aer Lingus A320 EI-EDP operated EI236 Dublin – London Gatwick with a four hour delay this afternoon due to a runway closure at London Gatwick following an incident involving an Air Canada Rouge Boeing 767-300ER. As a result the return EI237 was cancelled and the aircraft instead operated EI911 London Gatwick – Knock. The aircraft then positioned Knock – Dublin as EI990. As a result EI912 Knock – London Gatwick was also cancelled.
